Experience the enchantment at the 2nd Annual Cuisine in the Corn! Beginning with wine-tasting of Iowa wines and hors d'oeuvres, guests will feel as if they are seeing Iowa for the first time. The tall corn rising from the Bloomsbury Farm field provides the perfect backdrop for this elegant evening. One long table with white linens, china, candles and wooden chairs for elbow-to-elbow conversation create a captivating atmosphere like no other.

This year we are proud to announce that Bloomsbury Farm will again be partnering with Four Oaks to host the 3rd-annual Cuisine in the Corn! Four Oaks, a non-profit child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral health agency founded in 1973 and headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, offers services to children and families in all 99 Iowa counties. Four Oaks, and its affiliates, serves more than 14,000 people annually throughout the state. Four Oaks carries out its mission to “assure children become successful adults” by providing holistic prevention, intervention, and treatment programs and services.

Cuisine in the Corn will begin with a Cocktail Hour from 5:30-6:30pm in the Party Barn. Delicious appetizers will be served during this time and a wine-tasting will take place as well. An Open Bar will be available until 8pm, and a Cash Bar will be available after that. Guests will be transported, by hayrack, to the elegant dinner tables located in the corn field. Dinner will be served at 7:00pm.
